Crown Thinning (CT): The selective removal of branches to increase light penetration and air movement through the crown. Thinning opens the foliage of a tree, reduces weight on heavy limbs, and helps retain the tree’s natural shape |

Crown Cleaning (CC): The removal of dead, dying, diseased, crowded, weakly attached and low-vigor branches from the crown of the tree. |

Crown Raising (CR): The removal of the lower branches from a tree in order to provide clearance for buildings, vehicles, pedestrians, and vistas. |

Crown reduction (CRD): The reduction of the height, spread, or size of a tree. We will NOT top a tree, please see our FAQ page for more information on the harm of topping. |

Selective Prune (SP): The removal of selected branches, storm damaged limbs or other specialized pruning for trees and shrubs. |

Removal (RTRW): The complete removal of a tree, this includes the removal of all wood unless otherwise specified. |

Stump Grinding (SG): The grinding of the stump. |
